We did a shorter drive (213 miles) today to the KOA campground near Albert Lee, Minnesota. Nothing scenic about the location, except that we’re in big sky country now and we can see clouds all the way to the horizon! In addition to that, I’m on the KOA WIFI, which is faster than my phone hotspot. Shortly, I’ll check out the showers!
Tomorrow will be another long drive (454 miles) to the KOA that is 5 miles from Badlands National Park. Missing out on my 50% discount on camping at the national parks, but it didn’t occur to me that campgrounds at the park would be full. I have my reservation locked in at the KOA and will have 4 full days to explore the park. Will do some more research and planning night on what to do in Badlands. Hopefully, I’ll get some good pictures!
