I’ve had a wonderful month exploring the Oregon coast. Tomorrow, I’m reluctantly heading to Rasar State Park in Washington ahead of my reservation in North Cascades National Park on September 1st.
My last day in Seaside started out rainy and grey. This may be the first time on this trip that rain has interfered with my daytime activities. That’s pretty amazing.
The weather started to clear around noon, so after lunch we headed back to Hug Point and Arch Cape. For some reason, the elk seem to like Cannon Beach and there was a whole herd of elk out on Highway 101 today.
I got a much clearer view of Hug Point today. But with high-tide, I couldn’t explore all the nooks and crannies at Hug Point or Arch Cape…
