We finally made it to the Oregon coast today! I’ll be taking pictures at Harris Beach State Park, which is very close to Brookings, OR. Unfortunately, the campground is full. But I got the last spot at the Sea Bird RV Park that is only 2 miles from Harris Beach. And the RV park has showers and laundry facilities!
I’ve been waiting decades to see sea stacks on the Oregon coast and I am not disappointed! Sam and I spent some time scouting two beach access points for taking pictures. We didn’t stay out too long – don’t want to get sunburn on my first day here. Hopefully, we will get some good color at sunset tonight!
