This morning we hiked the Juniper Gulch Trail here at Leslie Gulch. The featured image is at the start of Juniper Gulch. Since it is dry right now, the trail was the stream bed leading into Juniper Gulch. During the hike, we would occasionally see other more normal trails that I imagine you would have to follow if there was water in the stream.

At times during the walk, I would laugh to myself because the scenery is just so wild and interesting. I was expecting the Jawas or sand people to hop out at any moment.

End of the trail for us. The initial slope before the brown bolder is about 5 feet high. Sammy jumped right up and was about 3 feet up the slope before I knew it. I had to tell him we we’re going any further.

Here are some of the sights we saw while walking back to the van.

What an amazing hike!
